After a one night gig in Ames Iowa, where we met up with Claudia's cousins Alec and Charlton, we headed to Wisconsin for the wedding of our friends Olivia and Jesse. Claudia performed an Alison Krauss song with Jesse's pal at a park overlooking GreenBat.

As you may or may not know, Claudia worked as a piemaker at Sweetie Pies in Fish Creek, WI, last year. This summer, our niece Jennifer is continuing the family tradition of working with Susan the Pie Lady. In this picture, Claudia does a quality control check.

Scenes like this are one reason that we keep going to Door County whenever we can. Another reason is all the great friends we have made up there. And last but not least, brother Jimmy.

Speaking of Jimmy, here he is sharing the stage of the Door Community Auditorium with us.

With Jimmy's excellent promotion, we drew 220 people to the Door Auditorium show. This was one of the high points of the tour, despite the fact that Bruce had a bad cold.

The multi-talented Fred Alley played a couple of great songs, one of which just may find its way into our repetoire (if Fred sends the tape!) Fred writes the lyrics and books for many of the outstanding musical comedy shows that the American Folklore Theater puts on each year.

Hope Church minister Chuck Morkin let us stay at his beautiful log cabin while he was in Vancouver at a seminar. This was a well-needed and much appreciated retreat.
