Our tour started in June 9 in San Luis Obispo. Here's accordian player Carl Byron convening with nature outisde the Castoro Winery In Templeton. The winery was the 2nd stop on our SLO Folks trilogy of dates, which also featured Coalesce Bookstore in Morro Bay and Linnea's in San Luis Obispo. Our thanks to Jodi of SLO Folks for all the work in producing the shows.

The Castoro show room, which had been a former production space, has been fixed up real nice for concerts and events. We played for about 50 people, many of whom had too much to drink ;-) |

In Winslow Arizona,, we hooked up to do a series of shows with one of our favorite songwriters, Anny Celsi. We played our first show with Anny at La Posada Hotel, the last great Harvey House railroad hotel ever built. The owner, Allan Affeldt and his wife are restoring it into a major league desert resort. From there it was onto Santa Fe. Claudia Anny each played two sets at the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. Bruce accomplanied both Anny and Claudia, and complained about having to do double duty for half pay. |
Before the Cowgirl Show, we did a "Desert Island" show with Luther Watts on KBAC. We got to play some of our favorite records while Luther ad libbed glibbly. |
|
Bob Martin hosted us while we were in Santa Fe. Bob is general manager of the Lensic Theater, a grand old style movie palace that is being converted into a major performing arts space for music, dance, theater, etc. Need any music for opening night, Bob? |
On Sunday, we played in Albuquerque at the R.B. Winning Coffee Co. and Cafe Bubbles. Both places fed us well and the people at Winning tipped us nicely. About 20 of Anny's cousins came to see us. |

There were many people on the sidewalk, so we took the music to the people. Bruce calls this doing a "Marvin."
